Todd knows how to smoke meat to perfection!!! Very delicious!!! Best pig wings I've ever had!!

'Made a Friday night pit stop and had some terrific soup and an adult beverage. Also, the Fire Box accommodated a special family lunch with absolutely delightful choice of entres and sides. 'Love the railroad theme....it fits the location and the community!

We got the lunch sandwiches, a brisket and a pulled pork. Then apple crisp for dessert. The food was excellent, all of it! Prices were reasonable and the owners are exactly what you expect to see in Iowa Nice. They were very friendly, accommodating, and proud of their business (with reason). We’ll make the trip back this way!

Super friendly and fantastic food. Eating from here was a great idea! It was filling and delicious for the price. I would say that is better BBQ food than some of the places in Des Moines and Chicago. My wife and I each got a 2 meat platter, which came with a side and a piece of Texas toast.

Amazing! There aren’t enough words to express how amazing Julie and Todd are and their food. Best flavor, best customer service, and best prices for what you get around, and boy do you get enough to fill up! We will for sure be back!
